Bank Is Unreasonable, Forces Customer To Employ Stupid But Effective Loophole
You'd think that if you didn't have any money, banks would just leave you alone. But no, for some reason they've deemed it reasonable and necessary to charge people for not having money.
Redditor u/ThrowOhWaitNo posted to the popular subreddit r/MaliciousCompliance to detail a story where something like that happened to him and his wife: they had a frustrating experience with a bank that closed their checking accounts and grew very difficult as OP tried to get their money that was in the checking account back. OP stood his ground well in confronting the bank's agents even as they attempted to refuse to speak with him and only wanted to speak with his spouse instead. Eventually, the bank relented, and OP won — all thanks to sheer willpower and a refusal to let things go the bank's way.
